As you can see in the video above, the books are coming along! The 'folded & gathered' copies Sean and Andrew are holding in the video are the final form of the interior pages, and the books have moved on to the binding stage. We are finally wrapping up procurement of all the specialty papers needed for the extras as well and hope to have good news regarding those in the coming days.
We are, as ever, so grateful for your patience. We will let you know as soon as we have a solid estimate on the delivery dates for your books, and we hope once you can see and touch the final results, you'll agree with us that it's worth taking a little extra time on things like this to get the details right.
In the meantime, please enjoy the penultimate audio reward, a reading of Lovecraft's letter to to R.H. Barlow from 19 March, 1934. This is one of the two letters in Miskatonic MissivesVol. I, No. 2, and you can find it in the folder with the other audio rewards here. All audio files have been renamed to list the story title or letter recipient and date, as well as the book from Miskatonic Missives from which they come.

Audio reward #5 and a look at the final challenge coin

Hello everyone,
I am happy to share with you today your next audio reward, now available in the same folder as the others. This one is a story from the third book of Miskatonic Missives, which is based on the letter penned by Lovecraft to Robert E. Howard on 8 June, 1932. (You can listen to two full episodes of the excellent Voluminous podcast on this letter as well, here and here).
Second, a couple of weeks ago, we shared a look at the 3D render for the Lovecraft challenge coin. We now have images of the final product. These were made by our friends at Campaign Coins, and they came out even better than we had hoped!
We will be in touch again soon with some exciting updates but for now please enjoy the audio treats, and if you'd like to pick up a coin, you can do so at the Helios website.

Second, just for fun, I thought I'd include images of the 3D render for the Lovecraft coin which some of you might have ordered as an add-on. We'll be getting a look at the completed coin soon, possibly in the next day or so, but these images show a 3D render of what the coin is going to look like in its final form. Hello backers,
It was wonderful meeting so many of you at NecronomiCon last weekend! We at Helios House remain so impressed by the tremendous work of our partners at HPLHS and their team, and we are blown away by the joyful, curious, enthusiastic, and inclusive community built by HPLHS members, the NecronomiCon organizers at the Lovecraft Arts & Sciences Council, and Lovecraft enthusiasts in general. Thank you so much for your warm welcome.
If you attended, we probably handed you at least one (and maybe several) Gilman House Lounge coasters with a discount code on the back. We don't know about you, but we are still recovering from last weekend, so we are extending the code through this weekend so if you want to pre-order any more books, prints, or other goodies, you now have until Monday August 29 to get 20% off. And if you were unable to make it to Providence last weekend, well, we don't want you to feel left out.
If you came by the NecronomiCon vendor hall last weekend, we probably also plied you with candy, an Owyhee Idaho Spud bar, and a story about how Lovecraft asked Duane Rimel to send him one in the letter reproduced in the first issue of Miskatonic Missives but that we don't know that he ever got his hands on one. Well, someone got him one last weekend.
We know you are all patiently waiting for the books. While we still do not have a delivery date for you, we did receive the first proofs this week, which looked wonderful, so printing is moving right along. We also received the leather bookmarks this week.
Luxe feel, crisp detailing...they look great despite what these poorly lit cell phone photos might be telling you.
Finally, we have your next audio reward. This one is one of the letters from the second issue of Miskatonic Missives, written to Robert H. Barlow on 10 April, 1934.
